NBA superstar and part-owner of OXIGEN, Stephen Curry, has a message for essential workers in the beverage maker’s latest campaign.

“Frontline workers are the real heroes who are risking their lives by stepping up for others and their communities every day. It’s now up to us to acknowledge and appreciate their service,” Curry said of the Recover+Rise campaign, which features five essential frontline workers telling the stories of how they’ve risen to the occasion.

Featured workers include a nurse, a journalist telling important stories, a flight attendant, a teacher, and a transit worker and former marine.

The campaign highlights that essential workers come in all shapes and sizes, and they all contribute to keeping the country running during these unprecedented times.

The Recover + Rise campaign launched this month and appears on connected TV, social media platforms, digital out of home, networks including ESPN, and through partnerships with a number of media outlets.

Additionally, OXIGEN will be donating to the Dolores Huerta Foundation, the FBI Agents Association, the Contra Costa Crisis Center, and 100 Black Men of the Bay Area.

For Curry, this campaign is just his latest foray into the world of public health following his virtual pep talk to frontline medical workers battling COVID-19.

He also hosted a Q&A with the nation’s top physician, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“I’m constantly searching to do things the right way, on and off the court,” Curry said. “Whether it’s playing basketball, raising children, or building businesses.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the team as an owner, and to contribute in this next stage of hyper-growth,” he added.
