The Advertising Club of New York’s former foundation and inclusion director Ericka Riggs has been appointed as chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer of the Omnicom Specialty Marketing Group (OSMG). She will be based in New York and will report directly to Stacey Hightower, CEO of OSMG.

As chief DE&I officer, Riggs will partner with OSMG agency leadership and be responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive environment for its employees, upholding the Group’s commitment.

The 2020 Nancy Hill Award recipient, sits on the board of SheSays NYC, actively advocates for diversity, equity, & inclusion in the advertising, marketing, and media industries.

“As a champion, advocate, and activist for people across a range of industries, Ericka is the perfect addition to the OSMG team,” said Hightower.

Before joining OSMG, Riggs was a consultant for The Sweet Idea Boutique and director of marketing at DCI Productions. She also held positions at UPTOWN and MOTOWN Records, UniWorld Group, and Northern Virginia Community College.
